My name is Maxwell Patchet, and I am a currently a PhD student at Marquette University specializing in late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century British literature. My dissertation focuses on the development of existentialism in England during this period. This emerges out of a broader interest in the intersection of philosophy and literature.

I have taught at Marquette University for the past six years, including rhetoric, literature, and honors courses. Currently, I am working as a teaching assistant for in interdisciplinary course on creativity, where professors in the disciplines of English, mathematics, and performance art teach students how creativity impacts their respective fields.
